Chilled/Heated Water Dispenser

While Arizona tap water is perfectly OK to drink, we provide our rentals with an Avalon A11 Temperature Controlled water dispenser with two, 3-gallon water jugs for your hydration needs,  There are three temperatures of water provided; crisp cold, cool, or hot.  The water dispenser is UL/Energy Star approved and child-safe, with a child safety lock on the hot water spout so children will not accidently burn themselves. 

As not all guests use the instant hot water option, our default during rental preparation is to turn this option off.  If you wish to keep hot water at the ready, please turn on the red heater switch on the left side of the machine.  

The most common question we are asked is how to refill the empty bottles. There are two options we can suggest.

First, the 3-gallon jugs belong to your unit!  Please do not deposit or leave them at any store. We carefully selected the 3-gallon jugs as many of our guests may find lifting a 5-gallon water jug (41.8lbs) a little much. The dispenser can support 5-gallon bottles as well. 

Option 1 - Self Fill  

(This is our method, and the cheapest). We take the 2 jugs to Albertsons (or any other local grocery store) and outside there is typically a coin-operated Reverse Osmosis (RO) water filling station. Expect to pay .30 cents per gallon. Don't forget to bring the caps with you! These are located in the drawer next to the water cooler. 

Option 2 - Self-service water exchange

Inside Albertsons (or again, another grocery store) there is a program offered by Primo, that offers a self-service water exchange program. You initially purchase a 5-gallon prefilled jug for $13.99 and take it home to use. When empty, you can return it to the store and exchange it for a filled jug for $6.99. This costs $1.39 per gallon, and then when you leave you, you still own the original the 5-gallon jug.  Easier, however, a little more expensive option.
